ingredience......

i hate googling something like “is it normal to ____?” or “do normal people ____?” and being met w responses like “haha well no one is really ‘normal’ are they? :)” like on one hand i really appreciate the sentiment (especially as someone who’s really sensitive to the idea of being ‘weird’ or ‘wrong’ in some way) but on the other hand. chief just tell me if neurotypical people do this or not 

to clarify: the zim x reader fic is entirely self indulgent. i went into it without any idea for a plot and i still don’t. which is why it takes so long 2 update...................im writing it for me, u know? other people enjoying my writing is kind of a bonus! so i totally understand if anyone is upset by the long wait for updates, i feel u, but i also feel like i should make it clear that I’m litcherally doing absolutely fuck-all because im filling a space that i felt the zim x reader genre (if u can call it that) lacked. i wrote this bc i was tired of the same tropes and ooc versions of zim in other pieces on here, and bc i wanted to know if other people felt the same lol. 
          
          TL;DR for anyone just tuning in and continuing to comment on my zim x reader fic, this is entirely self indulgent. so while I’m very very sorry for the complete lack of updates, it isn’t my top priority :/ 

u know I MIGHT just rewrite it one of these days because the pacing and setup are rlly not that good, but like. would any of u even want to read that??? like idc about how many people read it but it would make me real sad if i rewrote the first to chapters entirely n people still commented on the original begging me 2 continue bc the new one would be RIGHT THERE. also i really don’t know if I’d have the time or energy 2 do that............

my zim x reader fic is currently #11 in the #zimxreader tag and people are still commenting on it.............................................god rest ye poor souls who dare ask me to continue
