But, I am so glad that passion won over fear. Jellybean taught me so much about myself as a writer. It cemented in me the habit of trusting my gut and following the vision that I have for the work.
          	
          	More than anything, this story reminded me why I started writing in the first place: to create characters who feel real, words that linger, and found families that readers can carry long after the final page. Every tough chapter, doubt, and revision was worth it because of the chance to share this story with you.
