But, I am so glad that passion won over fear. Jellybean taught me so much about myself as a writer.           	More than anything, this story reminded me why I started writing in the first place: to create characters who feel real, words that linger, and found families that readers can carry long after the final page. Every tough chapter, doubt, and revision was worth it because of the chance to share this story with you.

Hi, author-nim! Could I ask which of your stories features the "each other's first and only" or "always been you" trope, without a love triangle or exes at all?

Hi, thanks for writing! I think Jellybean might fit the bill if you’re looking for that “always been you” and soulmate energy type of vibe. Although, it’s definitely not a straight-forward love story and there’s a whole lot of angst. I wouldn’t call it a “love triangle” but there are definitely people that get in the way of them figuring themselves out.
            
            I enjoy writing novels that aren’t as straight-forward, like an unfolding so to speak! Which is why it’s hard for me to package my novels into specific tropes.
