2023 has come to an end and we are heading into 2024.

In 2023, I had been busy writing my current story, One Less Star In The Night Sky (OLSITNS), and planning a couple of other new stories.

Just as we are crossing into the new year, I'd like to just take this opportunity to thank everyone who have been reading and supporting my stories and for giving me the opportunities to be featured on various profiles in 2023. Apart from being featured on few profiles during AAPIHM, I also had the honour of being featured in an interview with @WattpadAsianFantasy and being mentioned in @Fantasy's October Newsletter (links below) in October 2023.

In 2024, my goal is to finish up OLSITNS before moving on to a new story which I have been wanting to write. This new book would be a historical story set in ancient china. I'm quite excited to jump back into writing a historical story after working on my current modern one. Stay tuned, and once again thank you for checking out my stories.

Wishing everyone a happy new year ahead! : )

Hallo everyone, this is my first time making a request like this, as I've never been one to be socially active on the web, but here goes...

My book "Ten Thousand Books But Only One You" has been nominated for the Reader's Choice Award in the The Misfits Awards (with many thanks to @MoYun_ZJ ) and and I'll be grateful for your support through the form of ratings and votes!

Here is the link to the rating chapter:

(... I already feel like my book and my writer person are both misfits here hahaha)

"Ten Thousand Books": The spin-off story which explores Shi Ruijie's arc has been completed and fully uploaded!

When I was writing his side story, I actually made some adjustments to his age in the original story (ft. Fang Yuhan-Ji Kai). In Ten Thousand Books (Part 2), he should be around 18 to 19, a third year high schooler. So, Three Worlds A Lifetime should take place around 4 to 5 years later.

There are also easter eggs in Three Worlds A Lifetime! Some may not be identifiable at this moment, but hopefully one day they will be revealed. :-) There is actually a prequel that I started writing waaaaay before this, but it has been a little tough to write as tons of research is required and the plot needs refinement. Recently, I had some inspiration and now may be the time to pick up the story again!

          Till next time!! :>

"Ten Thousand Books": Just uploaded a mini teaser of an upcoming short story spin-off! Will drop Chapter 1 soon as soon as I have the time! : )

On another note, I've also been busy daydreaming up another story (modern setting and kind of cliche - but I like). When (and IF) I've written more chapters of it, I'll start releasing it to the world.

@MoYun_ZJ I look forward to checking out your stories (as soon as I have the time!!!), especially A Sliver of Frost! : )

Currently in the middle of one of the side stories (not sure if I'll find the time for the other). Will probably start posting when I've halfway done writing : D

Finally got the time to update: Ten Thousand Books, But Only One You is finally completed! (Super long title but couldn't think of a better one lol) It was originally conceived as 2 separate stories, one in 2014 and another in 2019. Somehow, it made sense when I merged both stories together and this long-titled book was born!

I had only wanted to write it for my personal enjoyment, so that when it's done I can read and re-read it over and over again. But then my friends became interested in this secretive book that I was writing, and so I decided to share it on Wattpad. I'm really grateful that there are others out there who are also interested in the story and Chinese culture :-)

I had also only planned for there to be Book 1, but then the story felt somewhat incomplete. Especially in relation to Fang Yuhan and Ji Kai's friendship/ relationship. The plan for them to separate for five years after high school was intentional and the "five years later" chapter was meant to be a cliffhanger which suggested that they may meet again, but there was no certainty.

And so, while I was writing Book 1, the inspiration for Book 2 appeared and for some reason, the fictional world further expanded to include more characters and more backstories. As such, I already have 2 spin-offs (or prequels) planned, with a few chapters drafted. One of the spin-offs is based on Lin Xi (who acted as Fu Wanxi in Book 2) and has less of a fantasy element.

But I'm not sure what story will come up next (as I have other ideas floating around in my head)! In the meantime, I'll be absorbing inspiration from all around me. Till next time~ :-)
