curating the soundtrack for BELLA VOUEX has been my favorite thing to do atm. the music connoisseur in me gets to shine lol.

@soulquarian what i usually do is find the best song out of all .That’s how i was able to do my chapters for my birth of meechie book and it’s sequel. I featured all the songs in the playlist itself (60+) but chose the best ones to represent each chapter, which will be half of that number or less than. So it gives readers an idea of the entire playlist that inspired the book only but selective songs may fit the chapters better. It’s like two playlists but it’s really one if that makes sense.

definitely just peeped my nachos being reheated…and im not sure on how to feel. the typical thing to be is upset and livid, but idk. when your work is truly 1of1, its nearly a guarantee that people will feed off of it in a negative manner. honestly it feeds my ego. in just knowing that im really like that.
and no replication is outdoing me.

@soulquarian mutuals makes it even worse than a complete stranger. But i’m glad you didn’t let it upset you. As long as your supporters know who the the OG is, that’s all that matters. And like the other person said, they never go far doing things like this. It’s one thing to take inspiration from many things and make it your own as us writers do it all the time. But don’t take people’s hard work verbatim. And i hope that wasn’t the case for you.
