"  hm,  i don't think so∼  you're much too playful on that,  but not enough to make up for it.  " ⠀rowan had leaned once more,  and pressed his lips passionately to his.  tongue idly gliding over the seam of his petals,  prying the pliant cavern open.

            〝  wouldn't you like to know? ＂ crimson hues lightly rolled at rowan's feigning of obliviousness before lightly biting at the thumb which was pressed to his bottom lip〝  and i got a laugh out of you.  so i should get a pass on being taught a lesson ＂

            it seemed there was no way of getting out or around this conversation,  leading the ranger to let out a sigh〝  there's nothing really wrong.  i'm just tired of everything these days..  not you though.  you've been my purpose to wake up every day just to see you ＂ his arms wrapped around rowan's waist in order to hold the blond close〝  don't know where i'd be now if you weren't apart of my life.. ＂

turning to his shoulder,  a hint of concern is laced upon the question. ⠀"  how about you tell me what's bothering you?  perhqps we could figure it out from there onwards.  " ⠀rowan suggests.

            〝  aw,  what am i gonna use now? ＂ he said with a faint pout as he watched the cigarette being put out.  dante now made it so he was leaning against rowan from behind,  his chin resting on the other's shoulder〝  so,  got any ideas? ＂

            a few chuckles of his own could be heard at hearing rowan's infectious sounds of joy,  making him continue his affectionate ways〝  what if that's what i want?  i've noticed your slight eyebags,  meaning you haven't been getting much sleep hm? ＂

"  it tickles.  " ⠀faint laughter chimed on each kiss.  there's an attempt for him to stifle it behind his hand—  yet the pleasant tones seemed to emit some more before it slowly dissipates. ⠀"  that does feel nice,  dear.  i might just fall asleep in your arms.  "

            〝  only the best treatment for you ＂ he said in response before carefully gathering up rowan's hair in one palm and gently combing through the tresses with his other〝  i can tell you take good care of your hair ＂ he commented,  leaving a few kisses along the nape of the vampire's neck every few combs he'd done

            〝  wow,  what a fancy dinner we'll be having.  hope i'll get a five-star rating for my cooking ＂ his comment was playful as he hummed at the kiss that was received〝  can you set up the table and pour the wine then while i plate our food?  there should be an unopened bottle in the pantry ＂ he requested while giving the vampire a kiss along his temple to return the affection

"  wine would go along with it splendidly.  hm,  i did not know that you're such a cook yourself.  " ⠀leaning over,  a chaste kiss plants upon his cheek. ⠀"  you're truly amazing,  how could anyone not fall for you?  "

            〝  nothing special.  just some steak and potatoes with a small side of vegetables.  wasn't sure what you'd like,  but i still wanted it to be enough to fill your stomach ＂ it was easy to tell how much dante had started to doubt what he made as he talked,  him being unsure as to whether the other would even eat the food in the first place〝  but it's fine if you're not hungry,  i promise.  i'm not forcing you to eat if you're not hungry ＂

            a guttural groan emit from the ranger as he was pushed against the wall,  his back hitting the surface behind him with a soft thud.  dante's own lips in between lights pants for air were later pressed onto the back of his palm,  making sure there was no more dripping blood from the punctured area〝  give me a warning next time before you go biting me,  yeah? ＂ he uttered in a low octave,  seemingly annoyed despite that being far from the truth.  he lapped his tongue over the part of his lip where the skin broke,  it being slightly sore as his other hand shifted back to card once more through rowan's hair,  effectively keeping the other from trying to close the gap again so he could properly catch his breath〝  and don't get too carried away now,  or else you'll end up sucking me dry ＂

the male vampire softly whimpered,  lips locked and invaded,  their intoxicating kiss shows no signs of stopping.  melting by the human's sudden aggression,  the vampire reciprocated the sloppy and erotic of dance of their wet tangled tongues,  the slick of their saliva joins with the heady taste of his plump lower lip flesh mixed of sanguine simmers.  it was delicious,  euphoric even,  as he tended the punctured flesh whilst fulfilling his hunger.  with a sudden surge of strength,  rowan's sharp fingertips dug onto the ranger's side—╌  pushing the man to a nearby wall as they slowly part to chase their breaths. ⠀"  mmh,  how sinfully succulent you are..  your blood is too much.  i might lose myself.  " ⠀his sharp tongue had licked his lips in a sensual display.  savoring what was left of the sweet taste of dante's blood.

            his mind remained foggy,  lost in the effects of the kiss up until the fanged bite to his lower lip was ensued,  causing the ranger to utter out a low groan in response.  rowan's whispers made his eyes lightly roll with a soft scoff at how he didn't even give him a chance to respond before continuing his piercing bites,  that of which caused him to use a hand to tug at blond tresses so he could properly speak〝  i'm not convinced enough.  i think you need to do that again for good measure.. ＂ came his response as the hand that tugged at rowan's hair moved to firmly grasp his chin before dante once again closed the distance between them in the form of a mind-numbing kiss.  despite him not having fangs himself,  he still put in the effort to return the bites by doing the same to the vampire's bottom lip,  up until there was enough open space for his wet muscle to begin exploring the cavern of the other's

        ``   you  think  it's so easy to  .. to just suck the blood out of another living being ..?   ``    laboured  breaths broke up his sentences,  his  eyes  wild and an unruly shade of purple --  unnatural  and  starkly  different from the usual pale blue of his eye.   adali  kept  his  glare,  his hand now gripping the other's  wrist   --  though,  his  hold  was  shaken  by  his  starvation.   ``     you  have  no  idea ..  what it is like ..  --   how dehumanising  it is ..  !     ``

       ``  why  are you so affected by what I d---  ``   he was cut off by the palm  pressed to his mouth,  his  fang  barely above the flesh beneath.  adali's eyes were wide in panic, and his heart thrumbed in his throat.  he was completely frozen,  every nerve screaming at him to clamp his jaw down, to feast for once.   he  turned his head away,  pushing back at dante's  hand.    ``     i  can't ..    ``   he  spoke  softly,  painfully as his gaze stayed on the ranger.     ``     i .. I  won't  do  it  --   it's  too dangerous ..     ``
