I have a story ready to publish on here but it deals with futuristic bio-engineering and a virus outbreak. I started writing it last year but now, with the current situation I'm not sure that this is the right time to publish. I really don't want to add to the current anxieties. What to do?

@SapphireSkyes Ah thanks for the suggestions. Will def. consider them. I found you through one of the people I am following- I like the Hunger Games fan fiction!

@spacecadet2811 You have a few options. 1) Say that this is a FALSE story, and that it has nothing to do with the Coronavirus, which isn't bio-engineering. 2) Keep writing it, editing it to make it perfect. Once this whole thing blows over, publish it (but I have a feeling Corona will last till the end of the year, so that's unpredictable).

I think it really depends on how Corona goes, and who your readers are. Do these things unsettle them? I'd be interested in reading it, actually. Outbreaks have happened before: SARS, MERS, Ebola etc.

Also thank you so much for the follow! How did you find my account, by the way?

@CocoNichole hey, you're welcome. Looks really interesting. May take me a while to get to it due to my ginormous TBR pile but I will def. get to it!
