Happy Friday (x2)! Today I’m also sharing poems from a Spring collection I wrote when I first joined Wattpad in 2016. They are verses from a young mother — of hope, light and Spring’s beauty. I hope you enjoy, and have a lovely weekend! https://www.wattpad.com/story/87761851?utm_source=ios&utm_medium=link&utm_content=story_info&wp_page=story_details&wp_uname=spacetodream

Happy Friday! Today I’m sharing a collection of poems I wrote when I was 16 years old. Verses of childhood, fantasy, love, heartbreak and dreams — they are bittersweet and remind me of how I began as a writer. https://www.wattpad.com/story/87241140?utm_source=ios&utm_medium=link&utm_content=share_writing&wp_page=create&wp_uname=spacetodream

Mid-Week Book Recommendation! Do you enjoy historical romance? Here’s a British tale with a female protagonist who is also a composer! With shades of Bridgerton, I’m enjoying this musical tale of love and life inside & outside the drawing room. https://www.wattpad.com/story/371068848-my-lady-greensleeves-%E2%97%8F-historical-romance

@spacetodream thank you so much for this!! I'm actually jumping off the walls excited—this is my first ever recommendation!! I'm away from home on vacation right now, so I'm not super active. But I can't wait to come back and interact with "My Lady Greensleeves" more often!

Are you a Poldark fan? I fell in love with its characters, romance, passion and gorgeous scenery. So much so that I wrote a few poems as an ode to its love! I hope you enjoy. https://www.wattpad.com/story/89750229-love-rushes-in

Dear Wattpad Readers & Writers,
I’ve missed this community, its creativity, inspiration, support and friendship. I’ve been away for over 4 years. Initially, I left because my work had been copied to “mirror” websites. I felt that the only way to protect my work from being stolen and copied elsewhere without my consent was to take it down from Wattpad. And in a measure of solidarity to show how important author copyrights should be, I also quit interacting here.
That’s why I took down my stories in 2021, that’s why I took my name off my account. But I truly missed this community. So, from time to time, I logged in and lurked. And I almost came back…more than once.
In the Fall of 2022, my family’s life took a dramatic turn when one of my children was diagnosed with pediatric brain cancer. I remember thinking, not long we received the diagnosis, that I would never write again.
I was wrong. Writing has been one of the things that has helped me heal, during and after my child’s brain surgeries and cancer treatments. It got me through tremendous, unimaginable grief. It allowed me to process what we were going through, and understand ways from darkness to light.
One of those ways is to find a community. And that is what I’m seeking now, when life “after” my child’s cancer is still hard. I am irrevocably changed, as is my family. Our lives now revolve around survivorship and helping our child navigate life with disabilities and differences.
I believe Wattpad is a community of not only creative people but also kind people. I believe this is a place where we can find the space to express ourselves, where I once felt that I (and my writing) belonged.
I’m not the same woman, or writer — I was a few years ago. I’m not sure I can write beautiful verses, magical fantasies or lush romantic scenes anymore. But some flame still burns in me to try.
I hope you’ll welcome me back, and I look forward to reading what you’ve been working on. ✍️Be well & writing —Stacie

@spacetodream thank you! And yes, Stacie :) I was in a hard space in the beginning of 2025 too and wattpad was my solace in some ways, good to see you back! Also, just read your other message, I hope your child is feeling much better and are stronger now. Take care and welcome back! 2026 is almost here, wishing you well too!
