"I want to say something from the bottom of my heart to every person reading this. Please, take this seriously. Wherever you are — boy or girl, teenager or adult, middle class or any class — this message is for you.
Please talk to your family. Talk to your younger brothers. Talk to your male friends, cousins, classmates. Teach them the meaning of real respect. Teach them what consent means. Teach them self-control — that controlling desires is not weakness, but true strength. That respecting women and girls is what makes a man honourable.
And to all the girls reading this, especially the young ones — 10, 11, 12, 13,14, 15, 16 years old — please listen to me like an elder sister speaking to you. Be aware of your surroundings. If you feel safe, talk to your classmates too. Help them understand respect and boundaries, especially if they are your friends or brothers.
Because even at a young age, boys in class 6, 7, 8, 9, 10 — many of them are already exposed to harmful things like porn, and it changes how they see girls. They might not even realise the damage they're causing. But you can be the one to guide them, open their eyes.
It’s painful to say, but it’s reality: danger doesn’t only come from strangers, but sometimes from people we know. Stay aware. Stay strong.
We all must build a generation that knows empathy, respect, and self-control from a young age. Because waiting for the law is not enough. Waiting for justice is not enough. We are the generation that can change the future — by starting these conversations in our homes, in our classrooms, in our friend groups.
Please share this message. Please make this conversation louder. Let's light a fire that no one can ignore."
