[ RE : CARPE DIEM AWARDS ] hey everyone! frankie here, eddie and i are finishing up the nominations count as we speak! but with that being said, i really do hope no one will feel offended, butthurt, or like overtly dramatic from the list! for a few reasons:
          
          eddie and i have mentioned in the rules that each category will have up to 5-8 nominations, we can’t go past 10 nominations per category. so from the pool of nominations, we try to count it all up and grab the top 10! 
          
          next, we’ve said that each category you may nominate up to 4 authors/ fics! with that being said, if you’ve managed to nominate 5+ people, any nomination over your fourth one in that category won’t be included! (hopefully that makes sense)
          
          then there are some fics that haven’t been updated in the 2023–2025 timeline, have been unpublished, or don’t meet the chapter requirements (three PUBLISHED chapters including the intro/prologue) so we, unfortunately, couldn’t add those to the list.
          
          please be understanding and mindful of these considerations, as they have been stated in the rules!

[ RE: CARPE DIEM AWARDS ] this is eddie speaking! frankie-kins and i were discussing a good time to close off nominations, and we settled on sunday. is that a good timeframe for everyone?
          we were also asked a good question about the "best veteran" and "best new author" categories. veterans will be anyone who was on this app prior to 2020, and new authors are anyone that joined the app 2023 and up! we will elaborate on this in the chapter!
          make sure to seize the day... and your nominations!
