Alex Eute was an amazing person. He was always laughing and making people smile. He helped those who needed help and made those who couldn't smile, smile again. He was fighting demons that no one could see. He was 21 when he took his life.
When you lose someone you suddenly realize everything you didn't know about that person. I've known Alex for two years, saw him every day, always laughing or smiling with another student. After losing him, I realized that I didn't know his favorite color or his favorite food. If he was a sports fan or a gamer. I didn't know what kind of music he liked or if he had any hidden talents. He looks like he would be a singer, good or bad, it didn't matter. He always laughed at my jokes, even if they were shitty or cringe-worthy. There aren't many people in this world who are like Alex, and not only his family and the students who called him a friend have suffered a heavy blow, but so has the rest of the world.
Alex was 21. He graduated high school three years ago. He fought every day against demons no one could see, and he never stopped smiling. That's what's scary about this. He knew he was going to do it and he still smiled every day. His smile brightened the mood of anyone who saw it. He was a great friend and I regret not getting to know him better in that little time I had with him.
They always say those with the brightest smiles are fighting the darkest demons. If only someone had seen it, maybe he'd still be here.
Rest in peace
Fly high
Keep Smiling
