@-flowercore a couple reasons. To me it feels obvious that riordan doesn’t really care about his writing anymore so it just feels like worse quality than pjo. Also can’t say I’m a fan of the depiction of Apollo either. I mean, in general riordan is not very good at writing the Gods but especially when he’s writing from one’s pov. I actually never finished the series even though I have all the books because the burning maze made me so sad lol
