Hello, and Happy Sunday to you all! I want to start a new thing on this page, as I have been down and out, even a little detached and distant from people and the world for a while, therefore and in need of encouragement. This is especially important due to the slew of dark stuff happening in society as of late. 
          
          I hope with this new weekly "series" idea, I can help to add some much needed uplift and warmth to your hearts, as well as my own. I want to begin to weekly post inspiring and strengthening quotes from positive sources based on what I've personally been going through. I hope the statements I post on my board will reach you well, too. 
          
          With that, I can't wait to start! Remember have courage and be kind, always! The first post will be up momentarily...

HERE IS  A GENTLE, POSSIBLY HOT TAKE:
          
          (Absolutely NO HATE is meant in this observation) In the context of the HP/JK Rowling situation... I know it's messy and I know I'm a bit late to the party. Hear me out, please. The woman is one of my absolute favorite fantasy authors for like, ever.  I believe her vision and story writing is PEAK. There is nothing like it.  With the HP films, Rowling  is responsible for one of the best, biggest entertainment successes ever. There is a beloved franchise because of her. I love her for making my childhood magical and I love that people love her universe. However, I have noticed on this platform that because of Rowling's OPINION. There is hate and disdain for her from  Harry Potter fans? It's a little confusing. Let me break it down a bit:
          
          Generally, if one party or thing causes such a 'negative' uproar, it's only natural for people to stop supporting the thing or person all together.  In the case of Rowling, would you not simply discontinue support her franchise, novels, etc?
          
          Many claim to hate JK Rowling on here, so much for a personal opinion she's stood behind. If one hates this woman so much, why would you  write or 'participate' in the fandom? Why use her characters, her plot, her settings or her universe? If you say you don't support Rowling  would you not just drop everything 'Harry Potter' related, all together? 
          
          This is only my observation here. To me, JK Rowling is still an amazing author and she will continue to be one of my personal faves. She expressed an opinion and she has a right to it, as we all do to our own opinions. To disrespect her this way, is in my view, wrong and ridiculous. Disagreement of opinion is natural and totally fine, and it could be done with respect and an open mind. No one can change your mind if you don't allow them to. 
          
          This has just been a confusing pattern to me lately. Anyway, I wish you all a good day or evening!  I love you all, remember to treat people with kindness, always.
