me… posting on here to say to myself that once my mac comes in tomorrow, it’s game time.
child’s play and super rich kids gotta get the treatment they deserve. and then these drafts of mine have got to be published. i wanna share so much that i had been working on in passing.
writing has always been a hobby of mine that i cherish and still work to get better at. but if i don’t sit and actually put the fingers to my keyboard then i won’t get better.
and tbh, i enjoy first person but pushing myself to write in third person is rewarding too.

you know what grinds my gears the most about this app?
it’s the fact that someone will literally follow you. will watch you update your theme, watch you publish a bunch of works with original ideas, graphics, and layouts, and will watch you engage with your audience and come up with the bright idea of “hey i can do that too!” and that’s great! that’s /really/ good and all but boo… there’s a thin line between originality and jacking. like straight up copying someone’s flow and pushing it off as your own and for what? no seriously, what was the reason? ‘cause i’m not understanding.
i don’t get how you deliberately sit and copy someone’s work and pass it off as your own. people dedicate their time and effort to produce AMAZING work, graphics, themes, and i feel bad. i feel bad that this can’t even be a space for them to share their creativity. like??? you’re wocky if you see something and can’t even give credit to who put you on.
