it had been a rather tiring day for the captain of senshin's volleyball team . after all , their little practice match with aoba johsai's team dragged out longer than he originally thought it would . but then again , he supposed there was no room for complaints since his team / did / come out as the winners ( though just barely ) . anyway , he was in desperate need of some water , && chose to exit the gym && search for the water fountain . a few of his team members found it odd since they had bottles of water there , but didn't question his actions .
at first , the five foot six male's pace was slow && sluggish ; his exhaustion was obvious . but it slowly got faster until he was nearly speed - walking down the hallway , the sound of his sneakers hitting the floor echoing throughout the halls . he came to a sudden stop when reaching the corner , bending over as his hands rested on his legs . breathe — he couldn't breathe ! he was gasping , && mentally telling himself he needed to calm down && get to the fountain . but why did he feel like he was suffocating ? why was he getting a sharp pain in his chest , almost as if someone was stabbing him with a butcher knife repeatedly ??
