Spiral Writing is a writing method developed by writer/editor D.L. Mackenzie. It blends elements of outlining (or plotting) and free-writing (or "pantsing"), and incorporates scores of other proven writing techniques into a flexible process of continuous refinement.

Now, Spiral Writing will finally be developed into a series of books and online courses, and it's going to happen right here. Like most everything else on Wattpad, the Spiral Writing courses will be works in progress, and Wattpad readers and writers are invited to ask questions and contribute feedback.

To get started, just follow @spiralwriter and stand by for the lessons as they are published one at a time. Then, dust off that story idea you had, the one that never seemed to go anywhere.
