NTM ON MY GIRL YALL. Every book she has written has been fire point blank. We should be excited about what will come because she’s expanding even more. We have loved all her books and the characters; if you are like me, you love them more and more with each book. 
          
          I feel bad because I pushed the sequel idea. So, I'm going to apologize for possibly making you feel like you were backed into a corner and had to write it. If you were listening or reading, she stated that she was already creating the next story before the sequel stuff. 
          
          So we are not fighting my girl here cause she’s not making a West Coast sequel…we can say peace to Enrique and Daniella and welcome what’s new. In the same way, we said peace to Sam and Natalie and Mateo and Anastasia.

*Takes a deep breath* Okay first, i find out my favorite book won’t have a sequel. Am I a bit bummed out? Yes. But what really grinded my gears is seeing she had to do a little “F U” note for people who have the decency to not be understanding of her decision. 
          
          First of all, these authors write because they love to write. Not because they have some whiney readers who don’t understand how much time and attention goes into their craft- who dont understand that when they make a decision, they are considering what is best for them and their craft. If you cannot respect that, you are not a fan. You are a leech that want to fulfill some sort of fantasy using their creativity. Thats it, thats all. 
          
          As for miss hottie: take your break, experiment, delete, recreate…do whatever you need to do. The real fans will still be here. I don’t care if you do a sequel or not. Hell, if anything, im eager to see whats new. Im excited to see how much your creativity evolves. The sky is the limit. Don’t let these bird brain folks put you in a box. Create your own box. I love your writing style. And to me, it dont matter what book it is, its gone be a good one. So F em.

I just wanna understand how people are so mad at your choice and trynna make it seem like something that it isn’t every book that you have up on this page is amazing i only am on this app fr fr because of your books i noticed that you busted your ass to write these books so what if you choose not to make the sequel and wanna take a break i feel like its well fucking deserved when i used to be up 4,5 in the morning i see a post from you, your busting your ass when people are writing on your wall asking for chapter after chapter and you breaking your back to give them what they want i want y’all hoes to write a book as good as she does and stay up all night feeling pressured and overwhelmed with ppl rushing y’all and then come talk to her bout sumn until then stfu and get a fuckin life  
          
          You have my full blown support girly and what every choices you make i fully support you with them <3

Whew! I do not find pleasure in how this will make a few of you feel.
          
          There's been a change of plans.
          
          I was really excited for the sequel, but writing it, something felt...not off track but off track. if that makes sense.
          
          I've written 4/5 chapters, and the plans I had for it EATS, but I just can't go on. Like, writing-wise. It feels like I'm typing with excitement, and then stagnancy strikes with all these thoughts about if the sequel even needs to happen.
          
          And now that I've sat back and considered all possibilities, one book is just fine for them.
          
          And honestly, I think I do need to take a break from posting chapters—step back for a little bit and come back with a fresh mind so I can write to the best of my ability.
          
          I'm not happy about getting y'all hyped just to take things back, so from now on, I will not be speaking of my plans. That way I don't disappoint, 'cause I'd be pissed, too, if I was waiting on book 2 just to hear it was scrapped.
          
          But I gotta do what feels right to me.
          
          HOWEVER, instead of it being one chapter left of WEST COAST, I can add one more to wrap everything up. So, there can be 2 chapters left instead of 1.
