warning!! not a positive update for my tbhk ff !! just the blunt details, sorry for poor formatting

          ***why i haven't been updating my tbhk ff*** 
          
          i'm not motivated to write for tbhk because i have fallen out of the loop and haven't kept up with it in over a year
          
          i'm busy with school and i'm in a busy part of my life. i am currently enrolled in summer school, and i will say that it is not very fun.
          
          lack of proper planning for my story. while i remember my overall plot, i cannot remember the details. i am a detail-oriented person, how am i supposed to put in intricate instances of foreshadowing if i don't remember everything i planned out ?? 
          
          i have that writer's thing where i cannot look back at my old chapters because then i'll have the urge to rewrite the entire thing.
          
          i cannot write for something i am not interested in. i want to prioritize writing for things i actually enjoy writing about, not just updates for people to read. because otherwise, all that gets published is garbage

          ***is the tbhk ff discontinued?*** 
          
          no, as i said last october of 2021, it is not discontinued but you are better off seeing it as such. i have put so much time into this tbhk ff already, i cannot just abandon it.
          
          that said, i have no current plans of updating anytime soon. it could be weeks, months or more years before you guys ever see the tbhk ff updated again.

          just wanted to add that it makes me very warm to see people check up on me on this page every now and then. i assure you i am doing fine, and i genuinely hope that everyone is doing well. i only log into wattpad every like five months, do not expect any fast reply.

do u ever. just like, write a really long update post for 40 minutes on your flipping phone (that’s how u know i’m serious because phone typing is not it) and then finally try to post it. and then wattpad goes “exceeded character length” and then just deletes ur entire post and sends u back to the homepage? yeah couldn’t relate either ffs. okay its late in the night where i live so i’m just gonna post this and i’ll see if i feel like posting a proper update tmrw morning. but note, i am still on hiatus so no tbhk ff update anytime soon

so update on where i currently am in terms of writing. for anyone that has been reading my tbhk fic since it came out, you might know that i used to write a lot and publish a lot within the first few months - but that has slowly died down. i'm very burnt out, both in my academics and writing, it's something that im very prone to in a lot of my hobbies. 
          
          my fic is not discontinued no, but there's also no schedule in terms of new content. it's more so when i have time and when i have enough motivation to write. i don't go on wattpad as often as i used to anymore, so most of my notifications and messages go unseen for a while before i see them.
          
          this was a very long overdue message! very sorry i didn't give you guys an update sooner. thank you to all my readers who have kept up to date, and hopefully when i get back into the groove of things - some of you guys will be around!
