When I first started writing 9 years ago I was afraid to show my face. I used a picture of one of my close friends instead of my real image. I was also ashamed none of my characters had skin that matched my own and that I couldn't write in any authentic black characters I. Going to try moving forward showing my face and being authentic and hopefully I will be embraced by my wattpad family/community.
