I found a post on FB with this verse:
“Seek the Lord while he may be found; call upon him while he is near; let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts; let him return to the Lord, that he may have compassion on him, and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon.- Isaiah 55:6-7
And a picture that says:
- Too young to seek God.
- Too independent to seek God.
- Too happy to seek God.
- Too busy to seek God.
- Too tired to seek God.
- Too late to seek God.
And I'm going to add on it.
Some of us are too young, too busy, too independent, too happy to seek God but while you are breathing and still here. SEEK HIM NOW. Because when we die and we didn't spend our time knowing the Lord, it might be too late and we might regret it.
There are 2 destinations of men when they die: heaven or hell. Some only believe in heaven but there are verses in the bible that hint that there is hell (see Matthew 13:50) and it is often referred to as "death" (Revelation 21:8). Death is the punishment of sin. This is where people who don't trust Jesus for their salvation go.
But there is Good News! Jesus Christ came here on earth, lived a perfect life, died on the cross and resurrected three days later. This is a proof of God's love and faithfulness to mankind. And through repenting-- turning away from sin, trusting in Jesus' salvation will grant you eternal life.
Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die; and whoever lives by believing in me will never die. Do you believe this?” - John 11:25-26
Jesus is coming soon. To God be the glory!
