Right! Never did I think that I would be making this post, but oh my gods! Archive of Our Own is NOT Wattpad, and it never will be. 
          	
          	Everyone who is "migrating" from here to AO3 needs to listen up: it is an archive, not a story site like Wattpad, and there is no algorithm. It is a place heavily against censorship, where people are free to write whatever they damn well please. DO NOT go around reporting fics because they are not to your liking, or horrify you to the point of disgust. Learn where the back button is, and how to use the filter system — which is very freaking easy, mind you.
          	
          	It has filters to search for fics, and a place where original works outside fandoms can be seldom found as it is a place for FanFiction. Do not move over there and expect it to be like this damn site, okay? Because it isn't, and it never will be.

@squishychey oh no no, you didn't scare me of but I prefer to be part of a community where there is a slight control because when you have a zero controlled environment this will be a thrive place to something like dark web ,I'm not saying all stories there are bad but this world has lots of sick being that we don't know or what there intentions are

@Toka_Khaled this is not me trying to scare people away or stop people from joint AO3 at all. I'm just… Very frustrated because a lot of authors on the site have already had stories reported and tried to have censorship thrust upon them by people moving from Wattpad to AO3. AO3 is built on a lack of censorship because of other sites forcing censorship. It was made for creative freedom, not to be restricted. It's why there is a massive tagging and filtering system, both in writing fics and in searching for fics.

Life update: I was sick for a week and a half. And now I have either got a pinched nerve in my lower back, or my sciatic nerve is just being a pain in the ass. I cannot bend, and I can barely walk. Safe to say, nothing has gotten finished over the past three weeks… I'm about to scream, fr.

@dvtoyevsky my wattpad had a moment and it said you weren’t following me… istg this website/app will drive me to my sanity limit one day, lol. and i do like that idea, that we have everything planned out for fanfics but it is very much different within our lives outside of fandom spaces. natural responses to such things will always take precedence over clear thought, and makes us do the otherwise irrational and unthinkable in that moment.
            
            to tell you the truth, i’d quite like to talk to you again, like we used to, before everything. i do miss those days more often than not lately, especially after talking to Misha over the past few weeks. so… if that’s something you’d ever like… well, you know where i am.

@CryingLemons it pisses me off so bad bc wattpad was essentially built on fanfics and fanfic writers. for wattpad to exclude them is, in a way, denying what made the site gain traction.
