Hello everyone!
This is a quick update regarding A Voice Like Absence. Last time, I mentioned the next chapter might drop on the 14th or 18th—but like many creators on Wattpad, I’ve decided to take a short mental health break.
Don’t worry! The story is still continuing. I’ll be back with the next chapter on the 21st—it’s already written and just needs some final polishing.
Moving forward, updates may shift to once a week instead of twice. The reason is simple: while the first 15 chapters were fast-paced, Season 2 will focus more on atmosphere, lore, and character depth. I want to slow things down a bit and let the world breathe.
In Season 1, chapters averaged 2100 words. For Season 2, I’m aiming for 2500–3000+ words per chapter, so naturally, writing and editing will take more time.
Also, I’ve been reimagining some of the games seen (but not fully explored) in the original series. I’m taking those vague concepts and building my own versions of them—designing rules, strategies, and plot twists to fit the tone and themes of this story.
