Hi there, readers of Silent Waves.
I would like to express my deepest gratitude to all of you who have stayed with me through Yuri and Jeya’s story so far. We still have many chapters ahead of us, and their journey is far from over.
I created this story as a way to heal from someone and to seal our memories through words, to keep it here forever. Some parts of this story are deeply personal and are inspired by my own experiences, emotions, and moments I once carried with me by myself.
Yuri and Jeya’s characteristics are not random. They are shaped by feelings I’ve known, thoughts I’ve struggled with, and versions of myself I’ve had to understand. I chose their personalities carefully, based on what felt honest and real to me because I wanted their story to feel human, imperfect, and true.
Thank you for reading, for feeling with them, and for allowing this story to exist alongside your own. I hope Silent Waves will be a place of comfort, reflection, and warmth for you just as it is for me.
