Was busy this whole week, and just today I got writers block :( so new chapter only tomorrow sorry

Hey so I'm rewriting my story again.
          No, I'm not publishing a new story but with the same title and book cover. I'm literally rewriting older chapters from scratch.
          I think I'm finally getting the hang of wattpad now!
          However, pls don't read past chapter 1, until I post an update, the story won't make much sense otherwise...

I...seriously underestimated how important part 6 is.
          Don't get me wrong, I had a vision for the story, but like...as I wrote it down chapter by chapter, I realized...Oh my god! 
          Oh yeah, I also have my mock exams right around now, so updating my story will be a BIT difficult...
          I'll try to update tomorrow, but don't be surprised if I don't upload chapter 6, let alone 7.

That's it. Only one chapter today (Which isn't so much a chapter, but oh well) instead of the usual two. 
          I know. It's New Years. But I have other things to do. 
          Besides, I just spent so much time editing my previous chapters...the motivation to write part 6 just isn't there. 
          So yeah

Ok so I've changed my mind, actually.
          I've started my story from scratch now, and while I doubt that the new version will suddenly attract more readers, I've made peace with that now.
          I'm mainly going to be using the platform as a way to post my story publicly and to keep myself consistent. The readers will come when they come, I guess.
          I mainly re-started because I wrote the second draft at a time when I wasn't very sure of my plot, so I came to a dead stop after a few chapters. I figured something had gone very wrong, and turns out I was right.
          So the story I've posted is the official, final one. I may change the cover a couple times, but I won't change anything substantial. So uhh...yeah

Hey, so a couple thoughts.
          i thought posting here was gonna be fun and exciting.
          in reality, i've felt more stress about my story and about my own self-belief than ever in my entire life. which, given the amount of stress in my life, says something.
          so i'll just be posting a christmas update (because it feels wrong not too) and then i might take a break from writing on wattpad. not that it matters anyway --- both my draft and the final story has barely been read ONCE, and i don't think I can take the whiplash of seeing stories with a thousand reads on the recommends page to seeing my own story with zero for too long.
          either that, or i'll find some extension that gets rid of the wattpad stats. and then i'll keep posting as normal.
          To the one person who followed me, please stay back. I know you probably just followed me just cause, but your contribution means the world to me.
