            Yes, I get it now. I never intended to steal the story or make a profit from it because I know there are consequences—it was only meant for offline reading. Well I just hope the reason their accounts were removed was a personal choice and not because they were reported. 
            
            The story is really good tho, and I’ve already saved it from the first to the last chapter in my drafts so I’ll just read it there.
            
            Thanks anyway. It's now clear and I’ve decided not to share it and just keep it in my drafts. Thanks for your time!

            I see, so you've never published anything on Wattpad before, which is why it's natural to hesitate.
            
            And about what you're saying regarding the warning before publishing, "I acknowledge this is my own original work, or I have the permission from the original author to post this work. Copyright infringement may result in story deletion or account closure." This warning is something that all Wattpad accounts get when publishing a book.
            
            Let me tell you, many Wattpad authors, even if they don’t own the rights to a particular novel, still publish it, simply adding a disclaimer that it’s not their original work. Mostly, I’ve seen that if you give a disclaimer, your account doesn’t get reported by people, but in this case you need to remember that it must for just offline purpose!! 
            
            You must remember that using someone else's novel or book, even for offline purposes, comes with responsibility. If you're not trying to profit from it—like locking chapters or earning coins through Wattpad—then it's generally ok. Otherwise, it could lead to your account being flagged for copyright infringement.
            
            As for the accounts you were following that got deleted, keep in mind that these accounts, which often publish non-original content, are at risk. Yet, many continue to post because they enjoy reading these books. Despite knowing the risks, they, as true readers, are willing to accept them.
            
            Also, there's a possibility that the accounts you followed were deleted not due to reports but for other reasons—personal matters, or perhaps the creators simply chose to leave Wattpad. You never really know the full story behind it.

@srimaa_1 So i’ve been really into reading chinese novels translated into english, and a few of the authors i follow had their accounts deleted. It seems that accounts reposting stories without permission from the original authors are at risk of being deleted. Even with a disclaimer, accounts can still be deleted if they don’t have permission from the original author to repost the work.
            
            Since I got really hooked on the story that was deleted, I searched for it bc there are other users here reposting the same stories. Luckily, I found it on another site so I thought I could copy and paste it to my wattpad account to publish it, since it’s more convenient to read here than on the site, and so I could reread it later. But when I tried to publish it, something appeared and I had to confirm that 'I acknowledge this is my original work, or I have permission from the original author to post this work. Copyright infringements may result in story deletion or account closure.' this made me kinda worried coz I don't want to risk it like others who had their accounts deleted.
            
            That's why I'm asking bc even tho I've been on wp for a long time, I've never published a story and I'm not sure if it's safe to repost here or if I'll end up like others whose accounts were suddenly deleted...
