HI OTORNIMMMM!!!! i'm not sure if you're still active on wattpad or if you'll even see this, but i wanted to reach out just in case.
so i've been re-reading he's home non-stop these past few days and i really reallyyyy miss them, i genuinely loved the story and the characters so much. ( ˃̣̣̥᷄⌓˂̣̣̥᷅ ) i've been creating so many different endings on my head, and i thought, maybe i could rewrite/adapt the story into a socmed au. >_< i've been thinking about it for a while, so i wanted to ask for your permission before doing anything with it.
ate ssouland, would it be okay if i rewrote/adapted he's home into a socmed au? i wouldn't be copying it word-for-word or claiming the original idea as mine ofc!!! i'd probably change or add some things to fit the socmed au format, and since the original was discontinued, i'd also like to continue the story and give it my own ending!!!
ofc, i'd give you 100% credit as the original author/inspiration, clearly mention the original fic first things first, and make sure readers know that my version is an adaptation of your work. i also won't post anything if you're uncomfortable with the idea. i completely understand if you don't want anyone adapting it, especially since it's your work. i just really loved your story and wanted to ask properly rather than assume i had the right to rewrite it.
thank you for writing it in the first place, though!!! even though it was discontinued, it stuck with me for years enough that i wanted to give the story a chance to have an ending. >_<
