@ ssourwolfs  Definitely, its a game now to try and decide what to post and what parts to edit so that wattpad and its new sensitivities dont get offended and they scrap your whole account without remorse. 

@ghoulglow yeah wattpad is weirdly puritan now?? i also remember reading hella worse shit than anything i’ve posted when i was a teenager and now there’s so many rules here??? but about my fics, i still don’t know which one could’ve gotten taken down??? bc they’re all still up on my end and no chapters are missing in any of them??? i’m wondering if it was a draft but it said someone reported me so i don’t think it was one but ???? still very confused [sobs] this app has gone to absolute shit tho since the past decade i’ve been on here imo it’s so hard to post/write what you want to lol

@ ssourwolfs  Mine got taken down and i only knew because Wattpad sent me a text saying that my story was borderline "Filled with pornographic content" like, it was a tvd fic and it had the normal amount of sex scenes, it was also explicitly stated that it was a mature story (it had the Tag and everything) SO i for the life of me cannot understand why wattpad has suddenly gone all pissy prude when i remember reading worse filth here a few years ago lol, like, full on erotica filth. 

@CYCL0CKED ah!! i always assumed the books were set in the 2000s based on when they were published!! that’s usually how it goes i feel for most series (maybe? idk :/) i haven’t actually read toa or the sun & the star yet :,( i’ve been meaning to but real life is busy [sobs] reading takes time for me :/ and i’m not well versed in the things rick has said about the canon in any of the material he releases!! and i wasn’t quite sure about technology in the show but i swore i saw a smartphone in one of the episodes?? and i’m pretty sure (idk i’m not great w/ dates of when technology came out so i could be VERY WRONG HERE, info is not very retained if i am not 100% interested) that smartphones are more of a newer invention? like the ones with screens & no buttons & shit?? i do like the aspect of it being “timeless” tho even if that’s not the vibe i got (i mean percy literally was flossing (the weird dance move not the dental hygiene flossing) in one of the first episodes from what i remember?? unless he wasn’t and i misinterpreted the dance moves he was doing lol) but i might’ve been blinded by how i assumed the show was going to go… idk why i assumed it was gonna be more book accurate than anything else but that is on me!!!! i didn’t do any “research” into the show before i watched it haha :,) 

@ssourwolfs i think the show is modern times or meant to be timeless. i believe that rick has never said that pjo is canonically in 2005-2009 and that it is a common fan interpretation that it takes place during that time due to the time of publication. rick often references modern concepts in his more frequent releases despite the fact that, if the 2000s timeline is canon, nico di angelo should not know who lil nas x is (i cant remember if he referenced him in toa or the nico di angelo adventures). technology is never really addressed in the show so that makes it feel more timeless compared to set in a certain time.

@CYCL0CKED i was just big upset bc i had a different idea for what the show was [sobs] it’s not bad!!! i did enjoy s1!!! just wasn’t watching it with the right eyes ig??? i’m gonna watch s2 sometime soon, i hear it’s more like put together than s1?? maybe?? i’m not sure [sobs] i can definitely see that they’re just trying something new and rick wanted to change things up for a (probably) newer audience? maybe? i’m not sure, i just went into the show believing it was something it wasn’t haha that’s where most of my gripes came from oops :/ 

@ssourwolfs just wait, s2 does big changes, some for the better, some ... interesting. the show adds its own ocs too. it feels like it wants to be more of a rick-led rewriting of the series now that time has passed, rather than a faithful adaptation word for word, like its trying to capture the spirit??

@B0RNCONFVSED omg thank you so much!! i’m never on wattpad anymore (busy with work & life & writing for other ffs not in my wattpad drafts lol!!) but i’m so glad you enjoyed lovely so much when i was actively writing it <3!! and thank you for the kind words :,) i get all in my head about not updating for so long bc it feels like crap and ik the struggle when fics aren’t updated for a while bc i’m also a heavy reader so thank you for that :)  

@ssourwolfs honesty so deserved. I remember it being one of the best Leo fanfics i read at the time i read it (i dont remember much of the plot, just the vibes). Might reread again soon for the nostalgia to celebrate! 
            
            Also, this is your craft, so you handle it how you want/can; no pressure on when to come back! I truly hope you have an amazing year whether you come back to publising or not in the meantime <3

@KyleNew8 i actually have a draft for a robin buckley fanfic, funnily!! nancy as a s/o is actually a really good idea!! i’m still heavily writers blocked for any wattpad fanfiction though [sobs] so i’m still not sure when i’ll ever start posting again but thank you for the ideas anyhow :D
