I have a quick announcement to make that I hope you will stop and read.
George Floyd's case has been devastating to us all, I'm sure. And I want to speak about this horrible situation to try and spread the word that BLACK LIVES MATTER. I hope you will do the same.
For starters, give me one reason why the coloring of somebody's skin matters? There are none. It does NOT define them. They can't choose, nor change it. It should NOT be something people are ashamed of, or afraid to walk out of their homes for. We are all equal humans, breathing the same air and bleeding the same blood. So why is this the case for some black people?
Black people should not be ashamed of who they are, they should be proud. They are beautiful, smart, and much, much more. Nothing is WRONG with them for their skin tone!! They are HUMAN. They should not be discriminated against or disprivelaged. That is beyond ridiculous. And the worst part about it is that it has become a reality.
OPEN YOUR EYES.
We are all equal. Nobody should have more or less privileges than the other because of their coloring. The level of ignorance some people can obtain for believing that blows my mind.
Police officers' jobs are to protect and save those in need. Not to choose whom to and whom not to protect. With this mentality, they are the ones in the wrong. I am infinitely thankful for police officers that risk their lives daily for the safety of us people, but not to those of such horrible beliefs.
Please stop this absurd behavior, and treat everybody as they should be.
