Andddddd.

Some of these award books just disappear....
          	Gone...
Without even a single message explaining why they were deleted or what happened.

          	And honestly? That’s frustrating.

I genuinely appreciate those who at least inform their followers or participants, who take accountability, explain the situation, and even create a new book as an apology.
          	Or something similar.

          	That effort does make count

I am not even going to talk about the ones who unfollow right after the contest ends.

But again, I really appreciate those who didn’t.

Personally, I never unfollow someone once I have followed them. That is just me. I cannot force anyone else to do the same. Not gonna dwell on that.

I just needed to get this frustration out.

And I honestly do not care if this offends you.

Because if it does… maybe try paying attention. Do better. Do not just dump content here.

          	Thank you for reading.

@star_writes_999 Yes, like if you're gonna close the awards book, or are having trouble with it, at least let the participants know. We'll try to understand, knowing is better than being clueless

@star_writes_999 No worries. :-) I got your context and quite agree.

(This is not for everyone, only for the ones concerned.)

I really hate being in unorganised awards. It genuinely gives me ick.

Some organisers out there actually care. They make sure their contests are well-structured, clear, and smooth, so participants and judges don’t feel lost even for a second. You can see the effort. You can feel it.

          And then… there are others.

Just dropping contest books like it’s some shortcut to gaining followers and reads. No clarity. No structure. Just chaos wrapped in a cover.

Well, even if that's the purpose but still those are organised. this one is for those which are not.

Meanwhile, here I am... writing down every rule, every category I’ve participated in or the ones I’m judging. Making sure I follow everything that’s asked.

So yes, if I’m putting in that effort, I at least expect a well-organised chapter in return.

Of course, it’s completely up to the organisers how they present things. Their contest, their rules. But then… don’t expect things to go smoothly if you can’t even pay attention to these meager details.

I stayed quiet about this for so long. I kept thinking... what if they misunderstand? What if it comes off wrong?

          But not anymore.

          I’m not calling anyone out.
why would I? Not a snitch.
This is just something I needed to say.

Because for me, unorganised things are not just “meh.” They’re an instant ick. A complete turn-off.

That’s also why I never edit my chapters after publishing. I do everything beforehand. Because once it’s out, editing messes with the dates and floods notifications, and I just can’t deal with that chaos. That's not something I can handle.

I know for many of you, this might not be a big deal.

But the ones who are like me?

You get it. You really get it.

@Mochi711 ikr!!!! If I'm hosting something, I'll make sure that I will be well organised and if there's any delay or something else, I will make sure to update the candidates. I will make sure that at least from my end things flow smoothly. And if any candidate has a problem I'll try to provide a solution to it.

@star_writes_999 I'm the same way. I even have a note in my phone that's just a running list of all the awards I participated in. So when my time to host my own came up, I knew I couldn't ensure things would be organized unless I did everything myself. So I did. And I think it went pretty well. I love well-organized awards because I feel like I'll get some actual benefits from it.

Hey darls,

          I just dropped a new book and it’s a rom-com ✨
I honestly feel like it might totally match your vibe—cute, chaotic, and a little addictive
If you get some time, I’d really love for you to check it out and tell me what you think

star_writes_999

@veloriapose_24 sure. Thank you for letting me know.

Have you guys ever seen rainbows around the moon? It's dim but very beautiful. When cirrocumulus spread all over the sky like someone has spread a little cotton sheet in the sky, due to very little moisture in it, when the moonlight refracts from that sheet, it somehow creates this miracle. It's amazing.

You would get me if you're a selenophile, nephophile, uranophile, astrophile, or nyctophile.

If you just stared at the sky randomly, you would have seen amazing things and scenes.

If you look at the sky like a daily routine, you would notice and witness how this world changes every day, how the sky tells stories about itself.

It tells you what happened, what's happening, and what's going to happen.

It tells you how it's feeling in terms of colors. It speaks through clouds. It speaks through stars and the moon.

So what does it speak to me right now?

It says, even when it's dark, you'll witness beautiful sights.
You just have to keep looking to find it.

(If you're from the Northwest part of India, step out and look at the sky, maybe you'll see it too. I'm not sure about other locations.)

star_writes_999

@My_Fantasy_World_7 No not that. I was talking about lunar halo. You can search it online. It is beautiful.
