I've been writing since before I was seventeen, but that's when I began my first fantasy novel. That story is an absolute mess I would like to return to at some point, but this (Starbright) is one that I started writing in 2014 and simply kept writing the story out as it came. And it kept coming until I finished writing it in 2021 (it was a bit of a chore, so I did it in fits and starts). I'm in the process of getting it ready for publishing - somehow and heard about Wattpad and thought I'd give it a try.

I'm happily married (ten years) and a first-time dad to an eight-month-old boy. I have loved fantasy fiction since I saw The Fellowship of the Ring and reading before that, though now fantasy is the vast majority of what I consume.

I enjoy writing now and am writing the second book of Starbright by hand on paper with my favorite mechanical pencil (as of right now I am on page 271). I also like plants and gardening and cannot wait to begin creating and growing with the gardens we create at our next home.

I also want to be a counselor some day.

I am: a book wyrm, quiet, introverted, a Four (Enneagram), creative, sensitive, sometimes brave, a traveler (Ireland has been my favorite so far), (mostly) organized, ambivalently attached.
