i literally don’t even know what to say to this. this is the sweetest thing i’ve EVER read. i had no idea that my story impacted people like this, let alone helped someone write a story of their own. that is so so beautiful to me, and has to be the greatest compliment of ALL TIME. i can’t believe that my work was ever received well in the first place, let alone to this extent. thank you so much. this means so much more than i can everrrr express, and this is what fanfiction is about!! i would be so honored if you dedicated that, that’s the sweetest thing in the world. i can’t WAIT to see what you write!!

ok so this is just so so cool. i don’t think it’s actually possible to explain how much good dirt has meant to me? watching thrones, i always felt that arya held a particular significance to the queer community the show must have been aware of but really failed in acknowledging (m. williams has since given interviews about this)? seeing a character reframed like in good dirt — and so well???!!! — to acknowledge and heal the gaps and reductions — failures — of the show is such a testament to the power and significance of fan fiction. i wouldn’t have written the thaw if i didn’t think it was possible — and good dirt made it clear that it was. you write arya in a way i can only grasp at, and as i’m editing my rewrite (the original is a little dire) i constantly return to it in reference as a more honest depiction of her than in the show? when the re-write does drop, i’d love to include a little dedication as i really can’t stress how special your book is and has been to me? let me know and thank you for the kind words and, of course, your writing :)
