I have not abandoned my book! Life has been crazy and it’s been put aside….for several years. My sister (darkruby12) and I have been working on rewriting our stories as they take place in the same universe. We will hopefully post the new versions of our stories in the near future. Thanks for sticking with us all these years <3

Hey all! I want to apologize for not getting another chapter out the last few weeks. I’ve been busy with family and other things. I want to get one more out before I go back to college on Friday. After that, I can’t promise when I’ll upload since I’ll be busy as heck balancing schoolwork and my sports team. For those who have stuck with me and DOAQ, I can’t thank you all enough! VERY IMPORTANT: I just unpublished all my old chapters and re-uploaded the first 5 newly revised beginning chapters. Okay. So I’m revising my old chapters(not published yet) and....y’all....my book is going to be so much longer.....I’m on chapter 5 and I haven’t even gotten to the part where my current chapter 4 takes place. Welp. More for you to read and enjoy I suppose XD.

Hello everyone! I need some help! I originally started this book back in 2014 when I was 14 years old and have been on and off writing it all this time. I would say that it is getting very close to completion (maybe 10 or less chapters left which may be subject to change since I literally add and revise the story as I write). Unfortunately, I cannot even go back to read old chapters because of how awful, cringe worthy, and terrible the writing is. Since the beginning, my ideas have changed completely and I've gone in different directions with some characters. I need your help on a few things:
1. Should I revise my old chapters to fit the story/characters? If so, should I do it before or after I finish the book?
2. I flipping HATE my 2 main characters (phoenix, Aeryn). They are bland and awful and I find myself despising any chapter that they are in. I wanted them to be different than the typical werewolves (ex. strong, emotionless, powerful female who has been bullied/experience trauma and tragedy. Or the big, strong, ruthless alpha male who becomes softer after meeting his mate etc.) Do you guys like them or should I change their personalities as well (although I have no idea how to do that at this current moment *cries*).
3. Do you have any tips for making my story/characters better and I would be happy for any constructive criticism as well.

Im fine with whatever you do. For the first question, maybe revise them now, incase u change some significant things, then it will be easier to adjust the rest of the chapters, instead of having to adjust the whole completed book. For the second question, i think u should do what u think is right. Its ur book, so its unfair if the writer herself does not like the way her main characters have developed. Do what makes u happy and what makes u feel pleased with what u have written
Oh I feel personally attacked in part 2. My 14 yr old self loved that stuff. I made up for it with unique storyline tho. Honestly I think anything is fine for you to do with your story but I think it would be easier to revise after completion so you already know where you are going with it etc.

Well school starts again for me tomorrow and I can’t promise when I will be able to update again. I didn’t get to write as much as I wanted over the summer because stuff happened/I lost a bit of motivation. Thanks for all your continued support!
