You're both absolutely right—there are so many impersonator accounts nowadays that try to mimic platforms like Wattpad to solicit personal or payment details. Please everyone, be very careful! Official platforms will never ask you to pay money to 'secure' your account. If you ever get a suspicious message, please don't click anything—it’s always safer to ignore and block or report 

@siaramchandra true many times I faced glitches, now jio and other networks don't even open this app & airtel is costly, I'm hating this, still got stuck...it was beautiful once, when they was user inbox and used to interact with authors & co-readers personally, but now the users became distant, not felt secured enough to comment and connect personally on comemnt box

@siaramchandra maybe it has some sort of technical glitches .
            
            And Wattpad has the worst security services.
            
            
            Two days prior i received a username asking me to pay the money .to keep my account safe from being stolen .
            
            Like seriously when these platforms started to bill . To guarantee the security services.
            
            
            And as per my intuition i screen shot the chat and. Look into google it shows a fraud account
