this may be a bit controversial but i will say it anyway. i have no interest in newer kpop groups, i just don't care about them. maybe it's just me getting old but i don't want to get into newer groups at all. when bighit was announcing txt's debut, i thought i was going to get excited but i wasn't interested in the slightest. i felt the same when jellyfish was announcing verivery's debut. i feel like i am losing interest in kpop or i can't keep up with groups debuting left and right but i will continue to love and support vixx and bts as much as i can.

ever since run, i've been having high expectations for the title track only to be disappointed over and over again.

i disliked all of the title tracks in 2016 (fire, bst) (save me was ok), the 2017 title tracks were just bad (not today, dna), spring day was a relief since i enjoy those types of songs, and the 2018 title tracks were disappointing (fake love, idol).

the only factors that are making me still a fan is the b sides and how much i appreciate/admire the members. that is really sad because the title tracks are the ones casual listeners will hear first. if they don't like it, they will not hear any other songs. my hope in 2019 is for bts to prove me wrong by releasing a title track that i can enjoy. but everyone has their preference and their title tracks are not my taste.

@KenviTrash it's nice to see them try different styles because they're growing up musically but it didn't have me hyped at the first listen
