“it felt like a lifetime...”

it has been one of the toughest journeys I've gone through for the past decade of my writing journey. the pressure, anxiousness, perfectionism, and unresolved twists that took their toll on me—it has been a lifetime of discarding, striving, altering, and revisions—but you made it here, ALTWY.

you may not be the first story, but you're the first phase, the first lesson that taught me to let go, to take it slow and genuine. you've mirrored all those grains I've had to overcome, but in this phase, I was never alone, for I made it with HIM.

if my young-hopeless-kid within me wonders, she'll probably ask me, “how come? it took me years to write with frustration, and then you will be the one to finish it?"

and I'll probably say, “you wrote with fear, but I wrote with grace and trust.”

ALTWY, you may not be the story I've always desired to share, and I may not say I've done it splendidly, but you are the story that I would always love to remind myself with.

a reminder that I've come this far because of Him.
