Hey guys :) i posted my 4th short story of my book

Today is the last day of me being 16. I honestly don't even know how to feel about that, like I have sooo many mixed emotions about it....

Yesterday someone asked me why I sign and share petitions. I do it as a way to spread awareness on the injustice that is going on in the world right now. It takes less than a minute and is free to sign and share a petition. There is really no excuse for you not to sign.

Whenever someone hears ACAB they get defenseful because cops are getting characterized. Yet when when a race/minority gets characterized it goes unseen, is normalized, and is considered okay. All cops will remain bad until there is justice and equality. Period. In school we were taught that by standing is just as bad as bullying. Whats the difference in this case? They couldn't arrest 4 cops but are perfectly fine with arresting people who are protesting against police brutality and justice for innocent lives that have been taken away from cops who abuse their power and use obsessive force. 

Another thing that blows my mind is that there are people who go against people protesting for BLM. 
          Ive heard people say that protesting is pointless because there is nothing to protest about. Excuse me? Black people are targeted by cops simply because of the color of their skin. And you dont think that's a problem? How is that not a problem, you might not think it's a problem because you have white privilege. But unfortunately not every one has that privilege and that is why they are protesting. They're protesting for equality and justice.
          I've also heard people say protesting is just a waste of time. Have you learned nothing about our nation's history? Our history is full of protesting/rebelling. We will be heard and we will get justice and equality.

It blows my mind how ignorant people can be. I swear to god if I hear one more white or non-black person say All Lives Matter instead of Black Lives Matter... 
          No one said your life doesn't matter. No one said you haven't struggled. The BLM is bringing awareness to a problem that has been going on for hundreds of years. Until black lives matter, then no lives matter. If you don't think there is a problem, then you are the problem.
          If you are only focusing on the vandalization and looting, then that speaks volumes on how you are as a person. Why are you more concerned on merchandise, buildings, and companies? Buildings can get rebuilt and items can get remade. An innocent person's life can not be given back. No justice, no peace.
