️ How This Cover-Making Editorial Works on Wattpad
I found a Wattpad account that designs book covers, but they have a very specific system with strict rules. If you want to request a cover, here’s what you need to know:
1. You can't request a cover at any time.
Covers can only be requested when the editorial opens a "tanda", which is a limited time window during which they accept requests.
You must comment your request in the editorial’s book, but only when the tanda is open.
2. You must follow the editorial.
It’s mandatory to follow the official editorial account, and you can’t unfollow later.
Once your cover is delivered, you must also follow the editor who made it to receive the download link.
3. Your story must be published.
It doesn’t matter how many chapters it has, but it must be public and visible on Wattpad.
4. Maximum number of requests.
You can only request two covers per person.
5. Credits are required.
Once you receive your cover, you must give proper credit in the description of your story, using this format:
> Cover made by: (@editor’s username) from Editorial_Silver
6. Your request must be detailed.
If you don’t provide enough info (title, summary, characters, colors, style, etc.), the editor won’t make your cover.
7. Sharing is mandatory.
To have your request accepted, you must share the editorial’s book on your Wattpad wall
and tag two other accounts (not your own) in that post. This helps spread the word about their work.
8. Reasons your request might be rejected or deleted:
You didn’t follow the rules.
You requested a cover for the same story from another account or editorial (this is called “double graphics” and it’s forbidden).
If they find out, your request will be canceled and you’ll be blacklisted.
