          Hope you're doing well ^_^

If you're into highschool romance give my book a chance.

"What if the boy she likes , also like her back and know about her feelings?

Sho notice everything he do and he notice everything she do...FOR HIM.

She was chaos dipped in silence.
He was melody wrapped in mischief.

She admired him like a secret prayer.
He smiled like he didn't know... but he always did.

She believed the truth that it was one-sided, but he proved her wrong.

No one knew who fell first, but both fell harder and harder, again and again.

Maybe it was Ishika's kindness behind her devilish side or Abhay's comforting words.

Or maybe it was their old bond which led them to their paths of madness."

          So are you convinced?

Read it now to know more before I unpublish it after feeling demotivated. Hehe.

Thank you for reading till now. I hope you'll give it a chance.

The ride home was as lively as our town's graveyard. I was glued to the door the entire time, ready to jump out the minute we got to my house or just in case he decided to bring up what Dream Hero had had no problem discussing. I clutched the door handle like it was a lifeline and prayed it wouldn't result in me jumping out of a moving car.

          Hero didn't seem to notice.

It was clear that his mind was somewhere else. He didn't try to talk to me like he had done back in class which was good because all that I could think about was the fact that he had friendzoned me and that he had gotten Melissa's name wrong.

I wanted to correct him so bad that I just—

"It's Melissa." I blurted out the minute I got out of the car. "The girl Donovan's with, her name is Melissa. Not Melinda."

"Okay? Potato Tomato." was his response. He looked at my hand that was still clutching the car door before looking back at me. "Can I go now?"

"It's actually," I chuckled nervously, letting go of the door. "It's, um, tomato—Potato Potato and Tomato Tomato but I get your confusion—"

          "Harley."

          "Hm?"

"Close the door." He muttered and I scrambled to do just that before rushing to get inside so that I could scream into my pillow at how ridiculous I had just been."Harley." He called out once more and I screeched to a halt like an unoiled robot, waiting for him to speak.

"Check your messages once in a while." He mumbled. "Otherwise exchanging numbers would be pointless, wouldn't it?"

This story is not about perfect people.
It’s about real emotions, silent stares, late-night thoughts, innocent fights, handwritten letters, and unspoken promises.
It's about teenage love — raw, messy, honest.

          Hey,

I hope you’re having a cozy day, filled with books that feel like old friends.

I’m really sorry to slide into your space like this—I just came across your profile and noticed you enjoy emotional, character-driven stories. My friend has recently started sharing a story that’s really close to her heart, and I thought you might love it too.

It’s called In the Wake of Us.

          She’s never known love.
          He’s still haunted by it.
Neither of them saw the storm coming.

Maira believes she’s not meant to be loved.
Arham once was—and it broke him.
Now they’re bound by a marriage neither wanted, caught in a silence thick with pain and unspoken truths.

It’s a slow-burn, emotional read about grief, love, and the quiet ways people find their way back to themselves—and to each other. Not the kind of love that fixes everything… but the kind that changes you.

If that sounds like something you’d enjoy, it would mean a lot if you gave it a chance. My friend would be truly grateful for your support!

And if you ever feel like sharing your thoughts, she would love to hear them—only if you’re comfortable, of course.

Thank you so much for your time. It means more than you know.
