Hi, it's Jess (formerly btsgotjams27).
First, I want to thank my wonderful readers. You've been incredibly kind and supportive of my stories, and it continues to amaze me that you take time out of your day to dive into the worlds and characters I create.
Recently, I had an encounter with a reader who expressed strong displeasure with content in one of my stories. I want to be clear: you're absolutely entitled to dislike or disagree with what I write. That's the beauty of free will—you can choose to stop reading at any time, and I respect that choice.
However, what I cannot and will not tolerate is being told what I should or shouldn't write, or being threatened with reports simply because my creative choices don't align with someone's preferences.
I understand that we all have our triggers, our traumas, and our boundaries—these are valid and important. But it's equally important not to project those onto others or attempt to police their creative expression.
As a writer, my intent is to explore all facets of the human experience—the good and the bad, the clear-cut and the complicated. Sometimes that means depicting difficult or uncomfortable situations. My stories reflect the complexity of being human, and I stand by my right to tell those stories authentically.
If something I write isn't for you, I genuinely encourage you to find stories that resonate better with your preferences. There's no shortage of wonderful content out there, and I hold no one hostage.
To those who continue to support my work: thank you for understanding that creative freedom is essential to storytelling, and for trusting me to navigate these narratives with care.
My stories will be republished sometime after the new year. I need to make changes to cover art and a few other things in the meantime. Thank you again for your patience and support. I hope everyone has a safe holiday season and a happy new year.

@starryrkive Merry Christmas and happy holidays!!! Sending love to you for the season and the next year <3333 also I don't get why writers would come to a story, ignore the warnings, and try to dictate the writers what to write smh. You're amazing!!!
