I watch as the sunlight falls on the rose petals beside my bed
Rose ..
Out of everything his favourite flower had to be a rose
The thorns of this flower hurt as much as his love
Now that I think of it
Why wouldn’t a rose be his favourite flower it was just like him
Intense like that deep red colour
Alluring like the sweet fragrance
And trying to get close to him meant pain”
