@starsnovel  [he slowly stepped forward then,  still behind her but close enough to pull her back just in case the sirens wanted to test his reflexes.   it’s not that he didn’t particularly like them,   he was indifferent.but the bias stories may’ve had some kind of power over his thoughts.   they /were/ dangerous after all] just be careful..

[hands would reach for both of hers, guiding her to sit with him on the loft]   it was me and goldbyrne,     i don’t know what got into him but he was just..    /flying/ and when he did?      these dragons just started showing up!     new dragons,    dragon’s we’ve never seen!   ..    there was one with four wings, wonnie.     do you know what this means for us??

@martyir,     [    a small laugh escapes past her lips,  hand covering her mouth as her back leans against the rails.  gently rocking on the soles of her feet,    ]    only some,  but most of them are over the bad blood between the beowulfs and the fairies.  although i think last time the rinnicks wanted your feet.  something about how they’d be good to walk with,    [   another giggle follows,    ]    obviously,  i told them no.

@martyir,    quite.  i've never ventured in the city before,  it's different.  bustling,  yet exciting.    [    the girl spoke,  and for the first time it seemed less in riddles and well—articulate.    ]    it's endearing in it's own qualities,  perhaps i'll show you the faerie's cove when we return to the school.  the fairies have been quite curious of you.

@maniaduna,    they're skeptical because you're a beowulf,  nattie.  or perhaps it's because you're handsome.    [    she lightly adds at the end,  in hopes to calm whatever nerves is threatening to bubble out from underneath him.    ]    but understand,  that the goblin will not harm you.  in fact,  they all took care of me when i was taken.  come here,  sit down.  it's rather comfortable.

[and he’d watch the goblin move about his hut with skeptical eyes, taking the opportunity to look around himself.  jars full of animal skulls and other things certainly caught his eye..   that and wha the hopes was a heart of an animal]     where do you even find these people?

@maniaduna,    [    nate didn't have to be so worried.  creating conversation?  anong could very well fill those gaps.  if nate was scared?  she would act as his guiding light,  but he was bright enough to light the way on his own despite how he personally felt.    ]    yes,  i ate some rice with a bit of bok choy. @starsnovel   just..   trying to make conversation   [he leaned back in his wooden chair,  tapping  his pen against the table. the scent of old books and ink would eventually give him a headache——just as they always did. he’d looked her way through the strands of his bangs, before lifting his shoulders to stretch the idle muscles]    did you eat?

@doveswept,     the walking sun?  i don’t ——-    [    a pause,  swallowing thickly.    ]    thank you.  but i know,  i mean,  i’ll leave you to what you need to do now.  yeah?

@lionswarm      that’s the thing,  i don’t want you to feel bad.  it’s not your fault that you’re the walking sun.  [ it’s his half attempt at trying to lighten the situation. ] it’s fine, but we need to come to an understanding that we don’t have to be around each other /all/ the time.

[    and it would be a lie to say if he wasn’t offended by the comment.  although offended wasn’t the right word,  it was hurt.  and it was clear on his face,  but he only takes responsibility.  never deflecting it,    ]    i’m sorry that i made you feel that way,  dove.  i can leave.

@doveswept,    [the little detail doesn’t escape lee, although he pulls back reflexively. or perhaps he noticed the discomfort  (which he had). however, his hands reach to the back of his own head, pulling out his ponytail.]    practice’s over,    [he muses, standing up before reaching his hands into his sport uniform’s pockets.]    i’m glad,  did you end up giving it to them?  ‘cause let’s go somewhere to eat.  i’m starving.
