I'm a lifelong Trekkie, writer, music geek,  husband, father of two, and proud cat dad (yes, one of them is named Moopsy).

I fell in love with Star Trek when Jean-Luc Picard raised the bar for leadership, philosophy, and moral gray areas on The Next Generation. Since then, Trek has been my compass, reminding me that curiosity, compassion, and connection can carry us forward.

Star Trek: Andromeda - Resonance, my very first fanfic, has been thirty-five years in the making. It began as a sixth-grade spec script (complete with a stuffed Popple as First Officer!) and grew through unfinished drafts, lost disks, and late-night writing marathons fueled by music and diet soda. Along the way, I discovered not just a story, but a way to reconnect with myself, my family, and what I love about Trek.

Expect deep-cut Trek references, crossovers from the wild Sega Genesis worlds of my childhood, characters who are equal parts brilliance and chaos, and music woven into the DNA of the story. At its heart, though, Resonance is a love letter to my younger self, to the values Trek embodies, and to the belief that hope still matters.

When I'm not writing, you'll find me working as a college career advisor, going to concerts with my daughter, watching the Chicago Bears try to be a competent NFL franchise, or going to the theater with my wife.
