          Before you dive in, I wanted to share a little something. Although this story is more loosely written than some of my previous works, I’ve made a sincere effort to apply the feedback and constructive criticism many of you have so kindly given me. I hope it shows throughout this chapter—and in the ones to come. Your thoughts truly do shape how I grow as a writer, and I’m endlessly grateful to everyone who has taken the time to share them with me.

Happy time zone, dear readers—and happy early holidays! :)
          
          Before anything else, I want to extend my sincere gratitude for the support The Faltered Bond has received. The book has officially surpassed 5k reads, and although the story is by no means perfect, it means the world to me to know it continues to resonate with those of you who’ve taken the time to read it. Thank you, truly.
          
          As many of you have noticed, the sequel is currently on hiatus. I can’t say when updates will return, but please know I’m working hard behind the scenes and doing everything I can to eventually return to a more consistent upload schedule.
          
          In the meantime, I’ve been pondering a different kind of story—a softer one, a quieter one—and I’ve finally decided to follow that spark of inspiration: The Crown Between Us.
          
          This story draws from the classic tale of the Knight and his Princess, but I hope to add my own twist to this beloved trope. Though it’s planned as a single novel, I have no set number of chapters in mind. Instead, I simply have a story I want to share with all of you—one that allows me to rest a little from the rules and heavy lore of my other worlds. This project will be written more loosely, focusing primarily on the relationships between the characters, the bonds they forge, and the emotions that shape them.
          
          As always, you’re more than welcome to share your thoughts, theories, and impressions as this project unfolds. For now, I’m sending you all my warmest holiday wishes and an early happy new year!

 ANNOUNCEMENT: Retiring from Wattpad in December
          
          Hello, dear readers!
          
          This update is a little different from my usual ones, but I feel it’s an important step to share with you.
          
          I have made the decision to retire from Wattpad as a writer in December 2025. At that time, The Faltered Bond will be removed from Wattpad, along with its sequel.
          
          Why remove The Faltered Bond?
          Because I’ve chosen to follow a lifelong dream—to publish the story as a physical, purchasable book. Naturally, this means it can no longer remain free to read on Wattpad.
          
          As for my other projects:
          
          Laws of the Pack may stay up for a while longer, but it too will eventually be removed once I prepare it for full release.
          
          I do have a few new stories in mind, but with my current time constraints, I’m not yet sure what form they’ll take—or if they will appear here.
          
          
          To be fully transparent, part of this decision also comes from fatigue. I’m weary of the bots flooding my comment sections and I want to expand my reach beyond Wattpad into spaces where my work can grow further.
          
          That being said, I want to thank you all from the bottom of my heart.  This journey has been incredible, and it’s because of you—my readers—that I’ve found the courage to take this step. You’ve given me the chance to chase my dreams, and for that I’ll always be grateful.
          
          I’ll still be here as an active reader, and I will continue updating my stories until December. After that—well, only time will tell.

A little life + writting update:
          
          I haven’t been sleeping well this past month—going to bed at 10 p.m. only to toss and turn until two or three in the morning. Nights like that leave you drained, and the lack of deep rest began taking a real toll on both my mind and body.
          
          Thankfully, over the past week I’ve slowly been finding my way back into a healthier sleep rhythm.
          
          With that, I’ve returned to writing. I’m still pacing myself, taking things one step at a time as I build these stories with as much care as I can. Your patience and support mean the world to me, and I truly can’t thank you enough for standing by me through it all. You’ve been amazing ❤

          Does the dialogue feel natural? Does it read organically? What could be improved?

Chapter 4 is having similar issues, including the title refusing to change.
