This announcement is largely for those of my followers who were fans of my ACOTAR fanfiction, A Court of Weeds and Whispers~ as well as those of you who are interested in fantasy romance fanfiction.

Sometimes working 'Macabre' feels like poking a stick at my brain and waiting for it to do something cool haha. Chapter 9 should be up pretty soon!

Chapter 8 of 'Macabre' has finally been posted! I fought through the writer's block and just tried to get SOMETHING out, because I love writing this fic and really don't want to stop!

          So I think in the last chapter of A Court of Weeds and Whispers I said I’d be posting another chapter around about this time since I’m now well and truly back from break. Plans have changed a bit and I’m struggling with this chapter more than I thought I would, so I’m taking a bit more time to sit back and figure out where I want it to go. Hopefully there will be a new update I can share with you in the next week or so.

          For those of you who are reading A Court of Weeds and Whispers, thanks so much for doing that! You can expect an update this week at some point, I can't promise when, but I've nearly wrapped up chapter 5. I just have to finish the tail end of the scene, edit it and wack it on wattpad.
          
          Another announcement I thought I'd make is that I've got another passion project of my own, not fanfiction, that's in the first few stages of prepping for wattpad. The title, for the time being, is 'Blood and Flame'. It will be a classic enemies-to-lovers fantasy about an ancient or potentially cosmic entity [in the form of a semi-human girl] who has to survive in an arena of human champions who will fight for the honour of killing her. The potential love interest is a famous gladiator who has trained all his life for this very purpose, hand-chosen by a prophecy. 
          
          So you know, if that sort of fiction is up your ally, I'd encourage anyone to stick around and wait to see what becomes of that project, since I'm very excited to introduce it.
