@spoobhat Elena is in a sort of coma, and Stefan moved on. He said that Elena wasn't his soul mate to Caroline, and they sort of have a thing now. And Elenas not coming back. But when u think about the future of the characters, u remember that Stefan and Elena are doppelgangers who eternally are reborn to find each other. And if that's not love, I don't know what is. This lifetime just didn't work out...
