              ⠀   you could say that his own was a gift from the aeon long,  sent to help the general on his travels and his battles.

               ⠀   the sedition of imbibitor lunae is a time that li would never forget.  chained in some  "shackling prison"  is not the best.  it was cold,  empty,  and horrible.
            
               ⠀   shunned and watched as the only parental figure he had was chained and imprisoned,  and he felt like his heart was being torn away.  but why had li also been chained and shackled?
            
               ⠀   because of his connection with dan feng.  so the preceptors had naturally assumed that he,  too,  would bring danger to the xianzhou luofu.  and the fact that baiheng had died,  jingliu was nowhere to be seen.  and yingxing..  well,  he saw what had happened.
