water pooled upon the filthy streets of new york , the numerous lights that glistened within the city danced gleefully within the puddles . a puddle of red soon tangled into the once clear water turning it a crimson shade . the scent of blood filled his nostrils as the man once alive now lay dead upon the sidewalk in a pool of his own blood . the heart had gone silent , giving up the bodily urge to fight . loxias wiped the blood smeared upon his lips from his meal . the blood - it was still warm as he licked the remainder from his fingers . he has had better , but neverless relished within the flavor . footsteps were approaching and the intoxicating sound of another beating heart fulfilled his ears . another possible meal .

@stiitches- running his hands along his face , he listened as the sound of her heartbeat relaxed before fading into the mass of others that rang from the city . someone else would have to quench his thirst tonight . he glanced down at the body of his first victim . the blood had now fully pooled around him , blending into the puddles of water that were once clear . now they were tainted with the crimson color . he had to find someone nearly anyone would do . the thought of her filled his head once more before scoffing and quickly slipping away from the street .

his words brought her to her senses as she nodded quickly , eyeing him up one last time before quickly turning on her heels and heading off in a fast walk in the opposite direction , back towards where she was originally headed . she wanted to stay , to talk to him and question his motives , but something told her that if she stayed she would make everything worse . a quiet voice in her head wondered whether she'd see him again ; a small part of her hoped so .

@stiitches- what was wrong with him ? he needed to feed . while he may have had one meal for the night it didn't fully sastify his hunger . the numerous thoughts swirled about his head cluttering his mind . in fact , he almost didn't hear her speak . loxias gritted his teeth in frustration . this woman , he wanted to kill her but something within him protested . perhaps he was getting a bit too soft for his own liking . how did she even seen him previously ? while there were lights upon the street it wasn't enough for human eyes to see him or the dead man . quickly he snapped back to reality , she had asked a question . " go , before i change my mind . "
