haven't been writing for months, because my bachelor's is sucking in all of my energy and Wattpad isn't opening in my new phone(don't know why). Today I used my mom's phone to log in to my account and found out that my short story "The Silence Between Sips" won The Author's Vault Awards organised by @metubrute and @CSBenson. Writing and putting your work out for others to read takes a lot of courage and participating in a competition where your work will be nitpicked by professionals feels even scarier. But I, for the first time in a very long time sent my overthinker brain on a vacation and filled up the form; never in my wildest dreams did I think somebody will actually read my story and even spend time reviewing it. But @CSBenson did, thank you for that.
And lastly, this is my request to every blooming author on this platform, please work on your craft and participate in these competitions, even if you don't win you will at least know what are the shortcomings in your writing and ultimately learn how to improve. That's all.
Love, Aadya
