          	I decided that instead of just editing the first draft of TFV that I will straight up just rewrite the book for the second draft. And this isn’t a last minute decision either, I’ve been thinking about it for nearly three weeks. I want to work on the story more before I throw myself into the second book. But I haven’t started yet, either. I’m working on rewriting/fleshing out the lore and history of TFV more to make it more coherent because I don’t feel like I did well. 
          	
          	A lot of the changes will be major which is another reason why I’m rewriting because I didn’t want to just add them into the first draft. Here are a few of the major changes that will be added that I will say as of now:
          	
          	• Arien’s name will be changed and he will be aged up to around 6-10. He made more sense to me to make him older because it made no sense in the first draft to have him be a baby and be the “spare” to Nikolai when they are well into their early twenties. They should’ve been had a spare after Valia was born (with her eye and all). 
          	
          	• Midori (Arya) will have more of a bigger role than she had before as a catalyst of the story which kind of just means that the reader will have more information about what her and Koa were doing in Vequera (even though it was explained but I hated how I explained and want to expand on it more. And I want to flesh out her character better.

* The religions in TFV will be more important to the story (even though they were before)
          	  * More Lamoniaes in the palace (I know they are mentioned but they never are actually there like they’re supposed to. (The palace just feels empty to me)
          	  * More information about the dragons and the other houses. (There’s a new house being added to the story which I’m excited about) 
          	  * I want to work more on character development too (I feel everyone’s just all over the place)
          	  
          	  And with me rewriting TFV, the sequel will be put aside until I finish. I won’t take TFV down but there will be a warning on the story.
          	  
          	  
          	  - andy, the prince (I feel like I’m going insane, writing about the history of Vequera)

To readers of TFV, this mostly a side note but in regards to editing of TFV, it will happen soon and once I’m done with it, book two will be made according to the changes made from the edited version of TFV. I just wanted you to be aware of that because I will be making some changes to book one that might affect the plot or plot lines.
