Hey — just a quick note.
          I’ve decided to take Shattered Bridges down for now. It’s a story that meant a lot to me when I started it, but sometimes we outgrow the things we write — or they stop feeling right to share.
          
          Thank you to everyone who gave it a chance. I’m not sure if or when I’ll return to this one, but I appreciate your support more than I can say.

          I’ve edited chapters 2 (Gilded Thorns), 6 (Cracks in the Glass), 7 (No Way Back), and 8 (Lines in the Dark). Most of the changes were to make Mel feel more in character, and I think they’re much better now.

          Quick update—there won’t be a new Iron and Ivory chapter tomorrow. I’ve decided to go back and fix up the earlier chapters instead. They’ve needed some love for a while, and rereading them really showed me how much I could improve them. Totally my bad for not giving them the care they deserved before posting.
          
          Thanks so much for sticking with me—I promise it’ll be worth it!  <3
