          I saw Iris beat me to an announcement but I won't hold that against her hehe.
          
          I just wanted to say that I haven't been back to  this account in such a long time that coming back to it after Stranger Things has ended feels like an ode to it. It is amazingly bittersweet to see all the love our silly, cringe little books have received from you for sooo many years and I know for a fact 14 yo Asimina and Iris would be losing their goddamn minds over it. 
          
          To me, the finale of Stranger Things was many things at once. When I say nostalgia will be the death of me I am not kidding, proof that I am actually on here again as a retired fangirl after all these years. Mileven was my first ship, my first teenage hyperfixation and ultimately my longest heartbreak. Stranger Things has been and will remain to be so dear to me, words aren't enough to describe it. 
          
          I might be rambling and if you are actually reading this I sincerely thank you stranger. 
          
          As Iris very truthfully said, one day we will be old grannies sitting by each other still talking about the show of our lifetime with as much affection as we had and still have for it. 
          
          Lastly, Iris this is for you, I will see you again in a few months and I am probably still going to say it then but, thank you for introducing me to my adolescence and thank you for being the longest friend I've ever had.♡

          It has been such a long while! I wanted to say that I will forever value stranger things and the feelings it evoked in my heart. This fandom felt like a sweet, safe place to escape from the world and I would not be the same person without it. 
          
          Mileven introduced me to love and more than that; it made me imagine and write about love. In our books they have children and end up together as they deserve. Their real ending will forever haunt me, but I choose to believe because in my heart and imagination they are happy and give me hope.
          
          Asimina and I will be old ladies and still talk nostalgically over this incredible journey.
